Diclazuril 5 mg
TARGET ANIMALS
Poultry (chicken and turkeys).
INDICATIONS
For the treatment of:
- Intracellular development stages of Coccidiosis.
Chicken: Active against different species of Eimeria: E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. Maxima, E. mitis, E.necatrix, E. Tenella.
Turkeys: Active against different species of Eimeria: E. Adenoides, E.meleagrimitis.
DOSAGE AND ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
For oral administration through the drinking water. Shake well before use.
Dosage: 500 ml per 500 litres of drinking water for 2 days only.
One treatment is fully efficient. If necessary, repeat after 5 days.
Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours. This product therefore needs to be changed daily.
Absorption of water from other sources, during treatment should be avoided.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Do not administer in case of hypersensitivity or resistance to active ingredients.
Do not administer to animals with impaired liver and/or renal function.
Do not use in breeders in production or layers producing eggs for human consumption.
ADVERSE REACTION
None known.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat: 21 days.
Eggs: Not permitted for use in birds producing eggs for human consumption.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Clean the drinking system thoroughly in order to prevent re-infection and sediment. Avoid placing drinking water in the sunlight.
Dilutions more concentrated than 1:1000 (1 ml Travi-Cocci-Plus to 1 litre drinking water) may result in sediment. Predilution is not recommended.
Toltrazuril may induce irritation. Avoid inhaling and contact with skin and eyes.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Keep in a dry, dark place in a well-closed container, between 2-25°C. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Avoid inhaling and contact with skin and eyes.
WASTE DISPOSAL ADVICE
Dispose of waste material in a way approved by the competent authorities.
