Tylosin tartrate 200 mg

INDICATIONS
For the treatment of:
- Chronic respiratory diseases (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synoviae;
- Necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens;
- Infectious synovitis and sinusitis caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum;
- Diseases caused by micro-organisms susceptible for Tylosin, such as Streptococci, Staphylococci, Corynebacteria, Pasteurellae and Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae.
DOSAGE AND ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
For oral administration through the drinking water. Shake well before use.
Dosage: 100 ml per 200 litres of drinking water, during 3-5 days.
Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours. Absorption of water from other sources, during treatment should be avoided. In severe conditions, it is recommended to double the doses.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Do not administer in case of hypersensitivity or resistance to Tylosin or other macrolides.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
For oral use only.
Clean the drinking pots thoroughly in order to prevent re-infection and sediment. Avoid placing drinking water in the sunlight.
Severely ill individuals tend to drink less and may need simultaneous treatment, preferably by parental medications.
Tylosin may induce irritation. Avoid inhaling and contact with skin and eyes.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Keep in a dry, dark place in a well-closed container, between 2-25°C. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Avoid inhaling and contact with skin and eyes.
WASTE DISPOSAL ADVICE
Dispose of waste material in a way approved by the competent authorities.
